Our fast-growing international ingredients company is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to work as a Quality and Technical Manager, who will be responsible for the safety and quality risk management of the ingredients and products from food and nutrition suppliers, as well as assist the company to meet the customer and market regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n

What will you be doing as QT manager?<\/h4>\n

Quality Assurance<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Quality and Technical Manager you are responsible for the food\/nutrition safety and quality risk management of our raw materials, from suppliers, 3rd party tolling and on-site operations. You take part in Audits (FSSC22000, GMP+, Kosher, Halal, Organic) and maintain our Quality Management Systems. You review quality systems including complaints and monitor raw materials vendors and HACCP.<\/p>\n

You will work closedly with internal and external stakeholders. Internal contacts inlucde our sales department, planning department, logistics department and operations department. While external contacts are suppliers, tollers and customers as well as certification, food safety authorities and branch organizations. We are looking for someone that is able to build bridges and who can easily navigate between all the levels of our matrix organization. The ability to promote and build a driving and cooperative culture, which will benefit the all stakeholders in the organization is essential.<\/p>\n

Market Conformity<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a fast-changing market environment, the Quality Management Manager plays a key role. We must ensure that we can meet our customer needs with respect to food contaminants, sustainability, social practices and food\/nutrition legislation.<\/p>\n

Operational Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are actively involved in the implementation, safeguarding and monitoring of the QFS processes. You keep the food safety\/quality management system up-to-date in accordance with internal and external requirements.<\/p>\n

Also, you initiate, support and lead improvement processes with regard to quality where necessary, in which you look for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

In this role you will directly to the senior Director.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/h4>\n

What do we expect?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • A Degree in food\/nutrition technology, pharmaceutical or biological technology, quality and food safety or similar<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 2 year experience as part of a team in quality assurance management, preferably with (some) experience in managing a team – or it being the next logical step in your career<\/li>\n
  • Experience in the food or nutrition industry (or equivalent in Pharma \/ Process)<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of relevant systems, such as FSSC22000, IFS, BRC HACCP, GMP+ Kosher, Halal, Organic<\/li>\n
  • Lead Auditor course or audit experience<\/li>\n
  • Fluent business English is mandatory; mandarin is preferable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This role requires someone with a strong team spirit and excellent leadership and communication skills. Analytical skills, accuracy and ability to adapt in a continuously changing environment are also essential. The role has business critical components, therefore you will bring autonomy, initiative, openness and a demonstrable record of being able to deliver on time.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
