Customer Service Representatives

Our fast-growing international ingredients company is offering an exciting opportunity to work as a customer/sale service to support the UK director.

To support our expansion and fast growth, we are looking to appoint two candidates for two home/office-based roles for customer service and sale support.

Job Requirements:

To generate increased sales and margins through further growth and development of the ingredient’s portfolio.

To Maintain regular positive contact with all customers.

To liaise with Sales Departments to obtain sales forecasts and customer feedback, in order to manage demand, plan and place the orders to avoid shortages and overstocking.

To liaise closely with the Technical Department to ensure that all new products, ingredients and manufacturers conform to current legal requirements and food safety standards.

To liaise with suppliers to collect accurate and up to date item data, in accordance with the Purchase procedures.

To ensure that all importing documents and certificates comply with relevant current legislation.

To resolve any problems with suppliers, the technical team (quality issues), and warehouse (delivery issues), and to support the import arrangement team if there is any issue for suppliers you are responsible for.

To manage, develop and understand the needs of the customer base, making regular contacts with these accounts in order to build, maintain and manage relationships with key contacts at both a technical and commercial level.

To present technical and trial information on relevant products to customers’ technical teams and purchasing teams.

To set and agree annual sales budgets in line with business development strategies.

Skills & Experience Required:

The role will involve business-to-business customer service, selling and technical discussions.

The candidate will be required to demonstrate a good technical basis of food, nutrition or pharmaceuticals with the ability to learn quickly.

The roles will be developed further with input and exceptional technical support from our key principals.

A good command of both written and spoken English is required.

Mandarin or Cantonese speaking is preferred, but not necessary.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm

Ability to commute/relocate:

London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Education:

Bachelor’s (preferred)
